Many clients ask me when the best time to photograph newborn babies generally is and I usually reply "within the first two weeks when babies are generally more sleepy". This baby boy was just coming up to seven weeks old when I came to their family home for his photography session. He was the most settled baby on the day, but nonetheless we calmly worked with him and captured some beautiful natural photo. This two week old baby was absolutely not going to sleep during this photo shoot! However, he was a chilled out little boy and with a relaxed photo shoot we were still able to get the shots that we planned and it is lovely to be able to get photos with his eyes open. The mother of this adorable newborn baby bundle was keen to get beautiful, clean, fresh, natural photos of her baby boy. The use of natural tones together with simple textures of the wool blankets and clothes worked really well.
