Bangor University is looking for Deaf sprinters or Deaf people with sprint start/starting block experience to take part in a paid sprint start study. The study will contribute to research that aims to inform the development of a standardised starting system in Deaf athletics.
The study involves doing ~30 sprint starts to measure your reaction time to different sensory stimuli – e.g. light and vibration – and takes around an hour to complete. If you take part, you will be paid £15 for your time.
