The best part of my job is welcoming little one’s back in the studio that I have photographed as babies & welcoming families back as they grow. So what an absolute treat for me this week to welcome back Grace who I photographed almost 3yrs ago as a newborn along with her new baby sister Raya. This gorgeous girl was so very chilled & only cried when she was hungry. She followed exactly the same pattern as her big sister – awake for parent/family photos, asleep for most of the solo photos & waking up just at the end of the session. We had great fun creating images that complemented h ..read more

I had the pleasure of photographing Little Miss Lily recently. She certainly put me through my paces – although here she is sleeping like an angel so you wouldn’t have known it. Often clients worry about whether their baby will sleep for the session & not all babies do, they’re individual little people after all. However, we can still capture precious memories of your newborn baby. My diary is filling up fast for this year with bookings right through to December. So if you are hoping to book in with me this year do drop me a message to secure your space. I have limited availability for Fe ..read more

New year & definitely time to make a new years resolution. I must blog more often! First newborn of 2024 & what an amazing start to the year! Little Mabel wasn’t actually due until after New Year’s but decided she wasn’t going to miss out on all the festivities so made an early appearance on Christmas Eve. She came to see me at just 13 days new & brought her big sisters along too. This was an especially lovely session for me as I photographed her big sister as a newborn baby some 8yrs ago, and see her every year for her Christmas photos. It’s always lovely to watch families grow an ..read more

I had the pleasure of welcoming little Lily into the studio this week at just 19 days new. I’ve known her Mummy for a long time as she has been bringing her older two children, Zahra and Ronnie, for Christmas photos for many years. Lily’s Mum even joked with me last Christmas how she wished she’d found me when her children were younger so that she’d have had more memories created by me. Little did she know that wish went out into the universe and the universe answered with a beautiful surprise that turned out to be Lily. This little lady is going to keep her parents on their toes that’s for su ..read more

I recently had the beautiful little Hemsley come to see me in the studio at 18 days new. Her Mummy asked for natural photos, nothing overly posed, so when Hemsley gave me the biggest yawn I just knew it would make for an adorable memory for her. I last saw Hemsley’s mummy in 2013 when I photographed her son & she told me how pleased she was to find out I was still doing newborn photography, as she loved her son’s photos. Only problem now is making wall space for this little lady’s photos. If you are due a baby & want to capture those precious memories, get in touch now to secure your ..read more

Introducing Miss Ada – aka unicorn baby. I always allow up to 4hrs for my newborn photoshoots as there is generally lots of feeding & settling needed during the session. However, every now & then I get what I call a unicorn baby & the beautiful Ada is one of those. A unicorn baby arrives asleep & just doesn’t really wake up for the whole session & goes home asleep. These babies are very rare but are an absolute treat when they come to the studio. Not only was Ada an absolute dream to work with but she brought along big sister Dorothy who was as beautiful as she was sweet. I ..read more

I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the beautiful baby Rose into the studio over the Coronation weekend and what an absolute poppet she was! At just 14 days new Rose absolutely smashed her newborn session, only waking for her feed halfway through. If I’m honest I think she was faking sleep at times as she’d slightly open an eye, see that the ‘annoying lady who kept moving her‘ was still there, and close her eyes again. Rose also brought big brother Zachary along to make sure that we got some precious family and sibling portraits. He also taught me how to play the Thomas the Tank Engine ga ..read more

I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Azaliyah-Reign today whose name means eternal princess and there couldn’t have been a more fitting name for this little lady. Azaliyah-Reign came to see me at almost 6wks which is a little older than most of my newborn photoshoots but she gave us a wonderful mixture of asleep and awake poses. She is certainly a very strong willed little lady already and certainly knows her own mind, and didn’t mind telling me about it when she decided she didn’t want to do something. This little lady was all about the princess bling and we had great fun adding little ..read more

Happy Birthday Jacob!

I love seeing babies come back into the studio for their milestone sessions and today was one of those days when I got to welcome the gorgeous Jacob into the studio to celebrate his upcoming first birthday. I first met Jacob last May when he was just a tiny baby and had the privilege of capturing his newborn portraits. I then saw him again at Christmas when he wasn’t quite sitting up completely by himself for his first Christmas Mini session. Then today he comes in as a bouncing (almost) one year old full of smiles and giggles. I love theming my cake smash sessions and Jacob’s Mummy had asked ..read more
