Please note that I am not a doctor, midwife or pregnancy specialist. All the answers below are my own personal experience and you should always seek your own professional advice. Some questions asked are heavier than others but I hope you enjoy reading a little insight into my own experience of pregnancy. I completely acknowledge my privilege to have fallen pregnant naturally and to have access to incredible support through the NHS and privately. Sending so much love to anyone on their own journey.

I don’t know about you but this time of year, I indulge a little more in my pamper time. Our skin, hair and nails are a little more prone to dryness, the days are shorter allowing for more evening downtime and also as the year draws to a close, we simply deserve to end it feeling wonderful. Here, I share my current favourite pampering products all natural, luxurious, effective and worth it! Women’s Balance Bath Salts by Neal’s Yard Remedies
There’s nothing I like better than a soak, a late afternoon one is my favourite time to unwind from the day. I’ve been using the Neal’s Yard Remedies Wo ..read more

When it comes to podcasts, our LMP teacher Emily is the guru. She loves a podcast and was my go to girl for writing this post. I personally love holding and reading good book as you know but I do love popping a podcast on when I’m cleaning the house, driving or cooking. I’ve added some of my faves at the end too. As you may see below, Emily is slightly more into spiritual than I am however we are both open to new ways of thinking and constantly eager to learn and connect more. We hope you love our recommendations and would love to hear yours.

I recently spent a delicious ten days in sun soaked Mallorca and managed to devour some hearty must reads that I think you should add to your Summer book shelf. I do and often fail to not be led by “trends” when it comes to my reading list, I can't resist a hyped up debut or an Instagram worthy cover but I can assure you these books are totally deserving of their hype and sexy cover art.
I’ve also added in some others I’ve read this year that I think would make quite the beach or park read.

Getting to Copenhagen felt easier than recent journeys I’ve taken to Cornwall. A 1.5 hour flight/ nap from London followed by a 20 minute metro into the city centre straight from Copenhagen airport. With well kept parks, open water and cool coffee shops on every corner, you land with a peaceful bang.
Head to ø12 coffee and eatery to refuel with an indulgent pancake brunch. It’s not hard to find excellent coffee in Copenhagen but this spot in a cute location and the pancakes are to die for. If it’s sunny, sit outside on the street under a heater and watch the world go by.

We don’t just do Pilates here, we do all things feel good and for me that includes fashion…well not fashion exactly but more dressing to feel good! You may have read that I just turned 30 and I noticed as I headed towards this milestone that I was feeling more confident not only in myself but in the way I was dressing. Perhaps it was a combination of turning 30 but also of leaving behind the pandemic look of trackies and a dressing gown. Anyone else feel like they are coming out of a two year hibernation?
Renting my wardrobe has been on my radar for a while but until recently was mainly just ..read more

This month I turn thirty. It feels equally surreal and empowering. Thirty is just another birthday but thirty is also the age that we envisioned when we were young and naive would be the age we’d have our lives together. Thirty is the age that I promised boys I’d married them when I was fifteen if we hadn’t found partners yet! And when I went through a money driven stage, thirty was the age I thought I’d be a millionaire- I can assure you I am not!
So therefore thirty is not just another birthday. It’s a pretty significant one. It’s an au revoir to our reckless years, a farewell to our youthfu ..read more

The first memoir I read was Educated by Tara Westover which if you also haven’t read then add it your list. The power of a memoir is that you dive straight into that person’s life. You feel what they are feeling, you try to experience what they have experienced through their words and I often don’t stop to breathe when reading. I find them more powerful that any documentary and any real life film because they haven’t been altered in any way by anyone else. There isn’t any glamorisation of their situation. The below memoirs were all published in 2021 and took my breathe away.
I feel so gratefu ..read more
