Podium 5K website Eight athletes will represent Scotland in a road race international opportunity next month in Wales. The Home Nations Podium 5k takes place in Cardiff on Saturday 24 August. And we are pleased to announce selected athletes to once again race at this event after a previous visit back in 2022. Enter Podfather 10k in Stirling The Scottish 10k Champs take place in Stirling in September. And such has been the enormous demand for places on Sunday 8 September that the Podfather 10k race will now close early. Organisers Central AC have already received more than 1200 entries and has now set a closing date of this weekend – Sunday 28 July. There is a limit of 1300 places. The surge in interest is terrific with the race having attracted 744 entries in 2022 and 1073 in 2023.
