Hey all!
I'm new to the whole owning a car thing. I basically leased cars my whole life as it was a habit I got from my parents. I'm slowly getting tired of having to find a new car that I like every 3 years so I figured why not settle down and finally own one. I'm currently driving a 2022 CX5 Turbo that feels amazing to drive but there's a lot of annoying little things I dont like about it. I don't know too much about cars so I figured I would go for a Lexus or Acura since they're known to be reliable. After doing some research, I finally made the decision to try and go for a RDX since the ..read more

Hey all,
I'm still looking for a replacement for my daily. I tried a couple manual, 2012+ Acura TL with the 3.7L and SH-AWD. One had a sketchy history, and the other was too modified for my taste.
I did fall in love with the model too, it made me think of my S2000 a little.
The options are few, the ones I find often have over 125,000 miles (200,000 kilometers), and I'm in QC — aka Rust Country. I'm meticulous about car maintenance and prefer previous owners who are the same. I expect some issues at this mileage but want to ensure the major stuff has been taken care of.
What issues should I b ..read more

I’ve only had my car for about 6 months when I got into an accident in January. The shop has had my car for about 4 months now and just told me the alignment passed. Everything is green except for the rear right wheel. Is it bad? It’s still new in my opinion should I press them and ask for it to be all cleared? I’ve also had problems on that wheel, for some reason the designator band for that wheel broke and punctured my tire from the inside out twice already in the 6 months I owned it. The first time I replaced the rim and tire. 2nd time I told them to replace the tire and just take off ..read more

I am a little angry at the moment because I extended my lease for 6 months, 6 months ago.
I wanted to extend it 6 more months since the same exact car is 100 more. RDX. New lease would basically be same body, same everything.
I told them my main reasoning for wanting to extend is so I can wait till the end of the year and lease the 2025 ( which should have updates, like all their other models. This is true. Not lying lol )
If it doesn't I would buy the car out
The rep I spoke to, two weeks ago told me I would be approved no problem.
I just called to extend and told them why, they said they co ..read more

Im planning on buying a cpo Acura, less than 25,000 miles. Im looking for a sedan, im a 22 year old girl and i dont know much about cars but im not ready to buy the mercedes i want yet. Im not too worried about the power or speed of the car i just think the acura sign is cute and is better than my current beat up altima. Im just really confused because theres so many different models/years and i dont know which is best/most reliable. I just need a cute, good Acura that can last me at least a few years with regular maintenance. Thank you!!!

My dad’s work friend has a son who recently bought a new car and is now wanting to sell his 2007 Acura TL for 3.5K, I was skeptical as to why so cheap so I looked up its vin number and it is salvage title . It was sold in 2018 at an auction.
Is it a good buy? ( the last 2 pictures are of the car now )

To preface I understand the bias towards Acura as this is an Acura sub, but I will ask anyway. I am currently in the market for a car and am looking at a '21+ TLX or '19+ ES350. My current daily driver is a 2007 Lexus ES350 and I love it but as of late it has had too many problems. I am eyeing a TLX bc it seems more fun to drive than the Lexus and am possibly looking to vary it up, both cars are reasonably priced in my area. My question is what are some things I should know about the TLX, like are there any years I should avoid? Which car is better and why? TIA

Observed this twice in the last week. The fuel door seems to open without actually pressing the button. It’s not like someone actually pressed it open when unlocked. Are there any shortcuts on the key fob that opens up the fuel door?
