Packing for a city break can feel like a battle between wanting to be prepared, but not wanting to drag around an overstuffed suitcase full of “just in case” items. The key to a successful city break capsule wardrobe is finding that sweet spot between versatility, comfort, and style.
You want a mix of outfits that can keep up with a day of exploring, without making you look too much like a tourist. The goal is to be practical while still feeling put together for museums, cafés, nice dinners, and lots (and lots) of walking.
I’ve travelled all over—usually with my dog in tow—so I’ve had to ge ..read more

When you hear "romantic style," you probably imagine dreamy pastels, frilly dresses, and floral prints. It’s easy to assume that embracing this aesthetic means pledging allegiance to a colour palette of pinks, creams, and other saccharine shades. And while that’s one way to do it, it’s not the only option.
Most romantic capsule wardrobe examples you’ll find online all look the same: floaty pink dresses, white peplum tops, and beige trench coats. Perfectly lovely for some, but if you’re anything like me, it’s not really your style. And if you’re here, I’m guessing it’s not yours either.

Blogging is making a comeback—or so they say. While, for me, it never really went away (I've been writing about fashion here for years!), but I get why many people drifted from traditional blogs. But the trending soundbites and surface-level content is starting to wear thin. More of us are looking for a deeper connections and more meaningful conversations—something that isn't just noise to keep us distrac ..read more

Getting dressed every day shouldn’t feel like a struggle. You want to look good, but you also don't want to spend hours agonising over outfit choices. This is where wardrobe tracking apps can help. There’s something about the start of a new year that feels like hitting a reset button, isn’t there? I've always found January to be the perfect time to refresh my wardrobe and maybe even rethink my personal style.
A wardrobe reset is a chance to reflect on what worked last year (and what didn’t—like all those unworn impulse buys!) and figure out how to tackle the clutter, save some money, and dress in a way that truly feels like you again.
Resetting my capsule wardrobe at the start of each new year has taught me to let go of pieces that no longer suit my daily life, clear out the clutter ..read more

What better time to start making changes than with a fresh new year? When I first began shifting my habits to be more eco-friendly, it often felt like many of those changes were so small they seemed almost insignificant.
But now, looking back, I can see how just how much those small habit shifts have added up. Every change we make—whether it’s swapping plastic out for reusable alternatives or buying more second-hand clothing—has a positive impact on both us and the planet.
By adopting a few eco-conscious resolutions, we’re not just helping the environment; we’re also building a life that f ..read more
