Happy Sunday! I've got an exciting new Gelish review for you today: the new Forever Marilyn collection*. A beautiful collection for Autumn, and there are a few shades you could wear all year round. Read on to hear my thoughts... That's So Monroe* is described as a 'cool brown shimmer' but I'd say it's more of a brown rose gold. A lovely autumnal shade but personally I prefer an actual rose gold! This was two coats. Some Girls Prefer Pearls* is a gorgeous white shimmer. Sir Teal To You* is a teal shimmer, this was four easy coats. The first coat shrank slightly but it applied fine after that. Slight VNL (visible nail line) at three coats so I did a fourth.  Just Me and My Piano* is a bright purple, it looks a bit darker on camera than in reality, it's a bit more neon-like, although not quite as bright as the bottle suggests. Happy Tuesday! I fancied doing something a little different, which is how these nails came about. I also wanted to play around with the Essie Concrete Glitters collection*, so I used them as a gradient base and created this sparkly galaxy effect.  I used Essie - Venture To The Venue* and Essie - Stay Up Slate* for my glitter gradient, then I used acrylic paint for the details, and finished off with a coat of Seche Vite.  What do you think? Before I start, I just wanted to say that I am aware that this blogpost is very very delayed, but I do have a genuine reason. Just before Christmas I was in a car crash and I've had really bad whiplash ever since, which has meant that I can't paint my nails for more than an hour or two at a time before I'm in too much pain to carry on. So it's been a very slow process trying to get these swatched!
