Living From a Place of Unconditional Love:

How Unconditional Living Transformed my Life It has been my experience that one can say absolutely anything to absolutely anyone, as long as it is said from a place of Unconditional Love. As a lifelong empath, (not to mention a natural product of environmental and societal conditioning), I have always found going against the grain to be challenging in the extreme. I would have run a mile to avoid disappointing anyone or, God Forbid, deal with a ‘Conflict’, since their emotions went straight to my solar plexus every time! I was, in short, a classic people-pleaser. Everything changed in 2018, ho ..read more

Soil, Soul and Society

Most people understand that we are Mind, Body and Spirit and at Omnes Healing we regularly emphasise this vital spiritual aspect, which is so often ignored in our society. However, my view of this was expanded recently when I read an account (1) of the acceptance speech for the Goi Peace Award (2022) by Satish Kumar (peace activist and former Jain monk) which he received “in recognition of his lifelong dedication to campaigning for ecological regeneration, social justice, and spiritual fulfilment.’(2) In this speech Kumar propounded a new interconnected trinity for ou ..read more

I am student healer and recently I experienced a moment that you might like to read about. I’m currently on the Omnes Healing Foundation Course and have attended Monday healing sessions since last spring to support me through ongoing cancer treatment. I am really enjoying the course which I mostly use to support myself and stay positive during this time of health challenges. I suppose I would describe myself as “sort-of spiritual”. Into mindfulness and yoga, not too sure about a soul or the existence of God. During the Foundation Course I have not hidden the fact that I listen with c ..read more

Appreciation … of Water

March 22nd 2024 was the annual World Water Day which aims to raise awareness and inspire action to tackle water and sanitation crises.1 This year it focused on the theme, ‘Leveraging Water for Peace.’  In a statement by the European Commission, this is explained: ‘As water scarcity intensifies, increased competition for dwindling freshwater resources threatens stability among and within nations through conflicts, displacement, or migration. And water is also far too often used as a weapon of war.’ 2 When I lived in the West Indies, I developed a healthy appreciation of wat ..read more

Embracing ‘Niksen’ – The Dutch Art of Doing Nothing

‘Niksen’ is the Dutch art of consciously doing nothing, a practice which apparently contributes to happiness, productivity and creativity and the Dutch are said to be one of the happiest peoples in the world.1 Niksen is not the same as mindfulness. It doesn’t require you to focus your entire attention on the present moment (which takes concentration and can be tiring for some); neither is it the same as meditation which, for example, requires deliberation on a mantra. Niksen allows you to think (or not) about anything you want. Your mind can just wander. Niksen, n ..read more

Renaissance Not Retirement! Revealing the Healer Within – Part 3

Eureka! Training as a healer with Omnes made everything make sense. Why didn’t I know about the human energy field before?  I was aware of the need to nourish and exercise my body and mind, but totally unaware of the other vital (and most neglected) part of me – my energy system, MY LIFE FORCE. But looking back, I did know about energy, I have actually worked with it all my life.  One of my teaching subjects was Anatomy and Physiology, so I was generally knowledgeable about the human body and its working systems.  Also, as a teacher walking into a classr ..read more

‘Spiritual but Not Religious’ – Where Do You Go for Guidance and Support?
Omnes Healing Blog

I had an interesting discussion with a Christian Hospital Chaplain recently about differing viewpoints of those who adhere to a religion and those who describe themselves as ‘spiritual but not religious’. It was a long and interesting conversation. One of the many issues we talked about was that if you are interested in a religion, then it is likely that you have somewhere and someone to approach if you have spiritual questions. This is not necessarily the case if you are ‘spiritual but not religious’. There is apparently no obvious place to go for impartial discussion and spiritual developmen ..read more
