I’m an amateur face painter that has been painting casually for the past 5 years and most recently have started taking more paid gigs. (Yes I have insurance, just got it this week!) I’ve been reading through all the Reddit posts in the face painting subreddit and I haven’t seen anyone talking about which brushes they prefer. I know that I need the basics.. Flat, Round, Petal, Angle, Filbert.. but what specific brushes and brands do other face painters swear by? Hello everyone. My partner is a wonderful artist and enthusiastically pursues every form of arts & crafts she can get her hands on. She’s never done face painting and we’ve talked about her doing it as a side-hustle. I’d like to invest in her and was hoping someone could please recommend a good starter kit with decent quality paints and maybe even brushes, sponges, etc. I’m a photographer so I don’t know much about painting anything.
