The plastic packaging tax came into effect on 1st April 2022.
This new tax applies to plastic packaging produced or imported into the UK that does not contain at least 30% recycled materials.
The rate of the tax to businesses who sell plastic is two hundred pounds per metric tonne of plastic packaging.
It is hoped that it will provide a clear incentive for businesses to use recycled materials in the production of plastic packaging, which will create greater demand for this material and in turn stimulate increased levels of recycling and collection of plastic waste, diverting it away from landf ..read more

We are constantly blown away when customers get in touch to let us know how our products have helped them.
This week it's the turn of customer Rebecca, who has recurring urticaria (also known as hives, weals, welts or nettle rash – is a raised, itchy rash that appears on the skin. It may appear on one part of the body or be spread across large areas), to such an extent that she experienced a full body rash, followed by an anaphylactic episode.
Here's some of her before photos...
I (Melanie) should also interject here to say Rebecca created an ENTIRE google drive folder for ..read more

White Rabbit Skincare will officially be 8 years old tomorrow, 25th of April 2022.
I can still remember the day I decided to register the business - which had started out as a hobby for me - with Companies House.

My Nana is housebound, and we (my Mum, Aunts and other relatives) always used to go to her house on a Thursday evening for a catch up and nibbles. I'm not entirely sure why I chose that evening to just 'go for it', but I did, and here we are 8 years later!(Except I'm currently sitting in my office, with a ..read more

It can be hard to understand the science behind skincare these days
As soon as ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and retinol stop sounding like a foreign language we’re thrown other long even harder-to pronounce words and phrases, and then advised that a 10-step skincare routine applied whilst sipping matcha tea and standing on your head (ok, slight exaggeration) is key to 'getting that glow.'
It's tough keeping up with everything because it sounds so complicated... but don't worry, we've put together a comprehensive-yet-simple, step-by-step guide on what products to use morning an ..read more
