Popular food delivery service Just Eat will invest in a new 25,000 sq ft flagship office on Shelbourne Road in Dublin, creating space for a significant workforce expansion.
The company has announced 160 new jobs as part of its Irish investment, most of which will be based at its new office. Just Eat added that this will still leave room for further growth.
“A continued increase in demand for our services has justified this investment and we are very excited about what the future holds for us here,” said Amanda Roche-Kelly, MD of Just Eat Ireland.

Electronic payments giant PayPal has reported Q3 revenues of $3.6bn, up 14pc based on massive growth in online and mobile payments volumes.
The company said that during the quarter, it completed its sale of $6.9bn worth of credit receivables to Synchrony – this negatively affected growth by around 7pc.
Despite this, it added 9.1m active accounts and ended the quarter with 254m active accounts, up 15pc on last year. PayPal said payment transactions were up 27pc to 2.5bn and that it managed $143bn in total payment volume.

Swedish mobile payments platform iZettle has been acquired by PayPal in a deal worth $2.2bn.
The takeover comes just weeks after iZettle, creator of an ingenious card-reading device for smartphones, revealed its intention to list on the Stockholm stock exchange.
