Abolitionist Place in Downtown Brooklyn is finally open! The 1.15-acre public park at 225 Duffield Street with playground, dog run, water feature, lots of benches, water fountains and a lawn is now accessible from 6 am to 1 am.
The play area for children is open from sunrise to sunset featuring 3 climbing structures and lots of space to run around. Bring hats and sunscreen in good weather as there is little shade in the park overall when the sun is the strongest.
Dogs must be on leash in the park unless they are in the dog run. Dogs and furniture are not allowed on the lawn.

Eater has broken the news that an ABC trilogy restaurant will be rolled out at the Empire Stores in DUMBO. The combined concept of ABC Kitchen, Latin-fusion ABC Cocina and vegetarian ABCV will feature approx. 300 seats in the old Sugarcane space that closed during the pandemic. Lois Freedman, head of Jean-Georges management, confirmed that the restaurant is in the design phase and construction will start this season.
