I don't understand why people don't just use windows defender, its better than 90% of the consumer grade antivirus solutions, heck I'd say with ai built into it, its on par with some enterprise ones. So, why do people still opt for other products like McAfee, despite Windows Defender offering a seemingly superior performance? I might have had this virus for a few months now. Its a puabundler. Windows defender detected it and it cant get rid of it. I also used malwarebytes but it didnt detect anything. SUSPICOUS ACTIVITES: Sometimes, a few secconds after i start my pc, random command prompts pop up and close immediately (usaly when I open chrome) Sometimes my Chrome randomly stops working and when i try to reopen it, it doesnt work.
