Hello, I need some help. What help you may ask? Well, I downloaded a free cheat on a game, because Im a loser, I run it and it says Trojan fragtor mtb and it says removed in windows defender . I need some help to know is it removed or not. Second, I downloaded a voicechanger software and then a few days later, it starts tp sing happy birthday many times. So I quarantine it from the windows defender and a few weeks later it says threat remediated. The name is trojan.jadaneck.a and says quarantine failed. I dont know what to do so I installed malwarebytes and detected 20 harmful malware. So I a ..read more

I don't remember any recent updates. What could have caused this & how do I fix it? I already tried going to "Advanced Scaling" in the display settings, but that doesn't appear on my computer. Even so, the scaling doesn't look off. The text is in the app is just blurry.

I read a lot of posts saying it's okay to not have one because the built-in AV is already good enough but I wonder if it's easy to get malware/viruses on your phone as easily as a PC. I don't go to sketchy sites or download anything willy nilly but I wanna ask just to be sure because I also see a lot of recommendation posts for mobile AVs
EDIT: I forgot to specify that I use Android lol my bad

I don't understand why people don't just use windows defender, its better than 90% of the consumer grade antivirus solutions, heck I'd say with ai built into it, its on par with some enterprise ones.
So, why do people still opt for other products like McAfee, despite Windows Defender offering a seemingly superior performance? Is it just a matter of brand loyalty, marketing influence, or is there a specific feature that these other programs provide that I'm missing?

When I visit chrome://password-manager/ malwarebytes pops up in the bottom right corner stating minergate trojan traffic blocked. I have uninstalled and reinstalled chrome from googles website. So is one of my saved passwords triggering this traffic or is it a false positive? Any info is greatly appreciated!

Can we all agree that avast and it's products are garbage. They continued charging, won't let me cancel the subscription. I mean to tell you that they are scammers on an organizational and corporate level. Avg, Avast are the worst products you can own.
Relying on excessive marketing and preying on simple minded people.

Sometimes my Chrome randomly stops working and when i try to reopen it, it doesnt work. I know how to fix it when it does this, but it does this pretty often.
Settings on sites sometimes change and sometimes i get logged out.
The problem might be chrome since thats whats ..read more
