But, wait. You don't live on a farm and your garden is usually unsuccessful so how can you participate in Whole30 because isn't that doesn't that require organic foods grass-fed beef and so on? It may shock you to know but just because you live within a town or city limits doesn't mean you aren't health-conscious especially when it comes to food. One thing I love about this area of the ..read more

Well, y'all. It's here. The oppressive heat and humidity characteristic of a low-country summer. The last month, after the oppression of May, made for outside play and exploration with Tucker and plenty of pleasurable, lengthy morning meditations. It's over. Tucker can have it. I did make it out yesterday morning and wondered whether hot meditation is as beneficial as they say hot yoga is. On ..read more

Is it hot in your neck of the woods? Mother Nature turned up the heat and humidity here this week which means Tucker and I are spending a great deal of time inside. We do have an outdoor event on Saturday and I hope it doesn't do me in but there is no way I'm going to miss it because somebody is turning THREE!   Thankfully, the Medley is an indoor activity so I don't have to give it up which ..read more

Is June going by quickly or is it just me? At least the weather has been pretty nice around here. Even on hot days, we have a lovely breeze that still has a hint of cool within it so we've been outside a good bit. The tomato plants are healthy and producing blooms but my wildflowers are not doing a darn thing so I planted some different wildflower seeds yesterday. I'll keep y'all posted. I ..read more
