I figured I’d shoot my shot. At the Marie Reed tennis courts in Adams Morgan on Tuesday evening, 5/7, I sat next to a really cute girl while waiting for courts to free up.
We chatted for a bit about
the Citi Open, good Thai restaurants in the city and climbing Everest. She had the cutest smile and I wish I’d asked her for her no. Would love to get a drink or play tennis sometime if she’s interested.”

I wanted to give a shout out and HUGE thank you to the young woman who helped me rescue a stray kitten that was hit by a car on Wednesday night around 14th and Shepherd St NW!
I was walking my friend’s dog and she happened to be going by on her bike, when all of a sudden
the most awful meows came from the middle of the intersection. The poor cat had a broken leg and was bleeding, so I ran over and wrapped it up in a shirt, and she immediately hopped off her bike to grab the dog and walked back to my house with me. It was definitely a chaotic, emergenc ..read more
