This year marks an anniversary milestone for several Comox Valley longstanding clubs, businesses, and organizations. In case you missed it, the Comox Valley Photography Society held their 2024 ImageFest at the Sid Williams Theatre on March 30th to celebrate their 60th anniversary. Next up, the Comox Valley Ocean Waves Square Dancing Club will be celebrating their 70th anniversary with a dance at the Native Sons Hall on April 7th. April 1st, 2024 marks 100 years of service for the Royal Canadian Air Force as a distinct military element. The centennial milestone is an opportunity to showcase and honour its distinct heritage through several events and celebrations. Locally, the Comox Air Force Museum is taking on the 19 Wing Centennial 2024 Project.
