The Chips Act has been surprisingly successful so far. The US has now spent over half its $39bn in incentives. In so doing it has driven an unexpected investment boom. Chip companies have announced investments of $327bn and a stunning 15-fold increase in construction of manufacturing facilities.

i was given the following h/a during IR classes: Please find 1-2 pictures/memes/political cartoons. You will display them on the screen and give an interpretation from the point of view of constructivism. The structure of cartoon/picture is as follows: 1) what kind of picture, source, context, and how it influenced the perception of the public, interstate relations (Charlie Hebdo cartoons, for example) 2) your personal opinion, what idea is being illustrated here. i found a gif that i attached to the post and i want to ask all of you to help me find the right words to explain this pic ..read more

I’m a new nontraditional student who’s returning to academia. I’m in love with IR and national security specifically. I like to focus on the Northern Africa region. I’m wondering if anyone can give me a basic outline on how to conduct independent research and the best way to go about publishing it. Or if you don’t want to explain at least point me in the right direction. Thanks so much!! submitted by /u/huckelberry333 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
