I work in the benefits industry and a few weeks back, someone sent in a retirement application to get his pension. We can't extend any Joint and Survivor benefits to his spouse of 12 years because they never married or thought to put her name on any of their bills (he apparently paid for everything). Now, if he dies, she gets nothing outside of a guarantee period. Zip. Zilch. Zero. Hopefully, she has her own savings but the amount of times I see this is staggering.

A relative who has some disabilities, is trying to independently make an appointment for necessary blood work. LifeLabs told her that she “must book online”. She can’t so they said “get someone to help you”. Friends and family should not be involved in your health care unless the patient wants it. Not at the whim of wealthy business.

Mr Doug Frod thinks a family of four can spend up to $479.12 cents for 6 hours at Therme spa!!! See the picture of the slide deck from Ontario Place For All.
I think Dougie is hitting the crack pipe harder than his brother did if he thinks we have this much money to spend on a day trip!!!
