Join Wells Book Arts for two hands-on celebrations on making. Papermaking & Card Printing Events Thursday, Nov. 30, 3 – 5pm: PAPERMAKING Students in Paper Formation + Form invite you to make paper. Join us in the Campbell Building, Middle Studio. We’ll teach you to make a sheet of handmade paper. You can then decorate your sheet with pigmented pulp and a selection of stencils with Wells and winter themes. Mary comes to the Book Arts Center at Wells College with two decades of experience in book arts, letterpress, papermaking, and zine communities as an artist, educator, and arts administrator. Week One, July 11-15, 2022 Marbling on Paper and Silk with Stephen Pittelkow Marbling on Paper and Silk with Stephen Pittelkow Great class for beginners! Marbling is a unique method for making beautiful decorative paper. Water-based colors are dropped onto a liquid bath, combed into geometric or fantasy patterns and then printed on paper.
