Two people have been arrested in connection to the early June killings of seven people in Valhermoso Springs. A spokesman for the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrests on Monday morning. The department is promising to share names, charges and information at an upcoming news conference scheduled for noon. Victim identified in fatal double shooting Saturday

Montgomery police say one person has died and another is recovering after a shooting Saturday. According to Capt. Saba Coleman, officers and medics were called to the 1500 block of North Decatur Street after a report of a shooting. At the scene, officers found 30-year-old Chaun Williams who had life threatening injuries after being shot. Coleman says officers also found a second man who had been shot and had non-life threatening injuries. Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Williams was later pronounced dead. Hobson City residents celebrated Juneteenth with one simple message: Black Towns Matter. On Friday, the town celebrated with a “Black Towns Matter” event. Auburn University is issuing a new policy that requires the use of a face mask during the COVID-19 pandemic. The policy goes into effect June 22. 20-year-old dies in Saturday morning crash

A Saturday morning crash has resulted in the life of a Louisville man. Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Cpl. Justin Vann says a single-vehicle crash on Alabama Highway 51 resulted in the death of 20-year-old Donald Jovan Howard McCoy. According to Vann, the crash happened at 6:12 a.m. after McCoy’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene.
