So apparently they were going to talk about making non-resident able to take goshawks in MI and then they change the conversation to the Goshawk will be moved from NRC jurisdiction to the Threatened and Endangered (T&E) committee. the concern is that they will make it so you can't do any wild takes. the last thing I want to ask is how likely is it for them to remove wild takes for Goshawks that is a dream I have to one day be able to train a passive Goshawk one day.

Hello all,
Been interested in Falcons for a long time. Ever since reading My Side of the Mountain as a young man.
Anyone in the NEF area willing to take on an apprentice?

So I'm in the back yard working on building a chicken coop, and I hear a red shoulder raising hell, they're everywhere and like to scream at me so I didn't pay it much mind at first. After a little I decided to take a break and check out what it was going on about, watched it stoop into the woods a few times, after a little a redtail came out of the woods and started soaring. The red shoulder chased it and stooped a time or two but didn't get too close, I lost sight of the redtail. For the next half hour or so the red shoulder, a decent sized juvenile (I'm pretty sure, couldn't really see the ..read more

I acknowledge that reading articles directly from JPG images can be challenging, so I'm exploring this method as I progress with publishing digital versions of the magazines. This process is time-consuming, but I am committed to enhancing accessibility for our forum members.*

Please be kind with your response. I recently acquired a breeder female EU Kestrel that i will be training into falconry this year. and I am watching her apparently going through her nesting instincts. I have given her some shredded paper to perform her desire to arrange them but I'm curious what others have done. I am not breeding her so I am sure she might be a little confused by the change. Interested in your experience .
