As title says. I started working in standing position (Coach, Computer trainings) after standing some time I can’t reach the drawer or bend forward. My lower back is frozen. I have to carefully bend slowly few times. I do sports 6-8 days a week. Yoga the same amount. Still struggle to have full mobility after few hours of standing. submitted by /u/accessrestricted [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Intense gym exercises for fixing posture? (anterior pelvic tilt and forward head posture)

I have bad posture, including very noticeable anterior pelvic tilt and some forward head posture. I wouldn't want to waste my time with light exercises that might not fix my posture. I'd rather include some exercises in my routine that fully exercise specific muscles, so that even if my posture doesn't fully correct, I'll at least have built some muscle on my neck, glutes etc. Is that possible? I've found a few anterior pelvic tilt and neck exercises on YouTube, but they seem too light. What are some more intense gym exercises that could help with anterior pelvic tilt or forward neck? submit ..read more

I need help to fix my posture

I have been doing chin tucks and exercises from this video to fix my posture for past few months. It doesn't seem to help much. I am also doing pullups, but I don't think it affects my posture much. Here is a photo of my posture, and here is me doing a little chin tuck and tightening my abs to straight my back. What exercises should I include to my daily trainings to fix that? submitted by /u/serwinho [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

The solution to climber's back: help settle the debate
Reddit - Posture: We've got your back!

My friend and I have been arguing over this for years now. If you go to a climbing gym you'll notice that most serious climbers have terrible posture - there is a characteristic rounded upper back. And the general consensus within the community is that it's due to a lack of chest exercise. This is what my friend claims too, that a developed chest will sort of puff your shoulders out and back. So the solution should be to do things like push ups or bench. This doesn't make sense to me, as I expect a more developed chest to be tighter and cause shoulders to round even further forward. Years ago I discovered the r/mewing community, since than I have learned so much about my body asymmetries. I learned how one muscle effects every other muscle in the body, jaw alignment/asymmetry can effect tightness in latissimus dorsi muscle, internal rotation of shoulder on one side, weaker glute medius on either side and many other muscles. imbalance/ asymmetry of one muscles can cause whole chain reaction of other asymmetries in body. I discovered that the chain of asymmetry I am having is generally denoted as "left AIC pattern". Now I am stuck at correcting my jaw misalignment, which i ..read more

Tailbone Pain

So I sit pretty bad on my PC chair because I have bad posture. I’m broke so my chair is a bad metal chair with no cushion. Is it possible that my poor posture mixed with this horrible chair could be causing pain/discomfort in my tailbone (in the coccyx area)? I don’t feel the pain as I’m sitting gaming, but when I get up from that chair, I notice the pain. submitted by /u/Merkaba_987 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Straight to the problem: How do I fix duck feet syndrome? I've had it for a while now and it's getting quite annoying. It's comfortable when I walk but people around me says it looks weird and I've kinda had enough of hearing that submitted by /u/Initial_Ingenuity_44 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
