Summer 2018 Giving Campaign: “Wheels 4 Kids” We are embarking on our next campaign to assist the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, building on the success of the 1,000 socks we were able to donate this winter. The Museum of Bus Transportation approached us for a proposal to restore the Baran’s Aerocoach Bus, if I’m not mistaken, in October of 2017. I was going to Buenos Aires, and I promised Becky and Angel Tollens that we would stop by to see the bus’s condition and the work that would need to be done as soon as I returned. My family picked me up at the airport, and from JFK we went straight to Hershey, PA to meet Becky and Angel to assess the bus’s interior.   A beautiful 1945 bus, a silent witness of another time, sitting in the Museum’s Annex was waiting to be restored to its original ..read more

Spring Fling is ready to roll at The Museum of Bus Transportation in Hershey, PA and we are excited to be a part of the festivities! This yearly event kicks off Friday June 1st with a dinner reception in the rotunda at the Museum.  The main events take place on Saturday June 2nd.  Those include a presentation featuring the Museum’s  Trailways buses, a visit to the annex to view the buses, and a parade of buses.  There will also be a part’s auction with proceeds benefitting the Museum.
