Hi Guys, I’m not sure where to post this so I’m gonna ask a couple subs but basically I just got a new couch and initially in the furniture store it looked very dark grey almost black but once I got it I realized it has blue undertones and with the lighting in my place it’s basically a navy blue and I honestly hate it. I can’t return it so I figured I could dye it black, however, apparently polyester is a pain in the ass to dye since it’s synthetic and unfortunately only the seat cushion covers can be removed, everything else is upholstered to the couch. I bought this Sectional from a Habitat for Humanity ReStore thrift store. It was pristine, cushions looked like it had never been sat on, ultra thick and firm. A $5000 sectional for $200. They had just put it out on the floor and I snatched it up! The only thing I found was looked like some slight bit of webs around the bottom of some of the feet. I think it was in a storage unit. My husband is a sofa sleeper. He has a bad back and likes having the back of the sofa for support to lean against which a bed won’t give. This is my first time here, but I wanted some thoughts on a issue I'm having with my couch. It's large multi- sectional couch which each are square shaped. The cushions are pulled with bird feathers atm and unfortunately my partner is highly allergic to it. I'm trying to find an alternative that's affordable and will help solve my second issue that the cusions don't have enough stuffing to cover the edges of each couch piece.(If you try to lay down across the pieces you will have wood frames in your back or sides). Hello Everyone, I really need your guy's help with this. While back I updated the upholstery for the bottom cushion seats on my fun deck boat, and I was charged $1,500 for the service. Now, I'm looking to update the top ones, and I've been quoted $2,500. Am I being overcharged, or is it a reasonable price? Additionally, I'm considering purchasing all the seats from pontoonstuff . com, which would total around $2,315.60. We’re moving and want to keep this bed, if we can reupholster it with a heavy linen. The headboard and footboard both have leather insets we’d like to replace with linen.
