Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Player First Games have announced that Joker will be a playable character in the MultiVersus fighting game. Capcom has announced that Dragon’s Dogma II has sold over 2.62 million copies as of March 31. Back in April, the publisher announced that the title had surpassed 2.5 million copies sold. According to a recent report from The Verge, Xbox Studios head Matt Booty recently held a town hall meeting following the recent Bethesda studio closures. In this meeting, Booty reportedly told staff that the company needs “smaller games that give us prestige and awards”. Bandai Namco has announced a competition in anticipation for the release of the Shadow of Erdtree DLC launching next month. The contest, dubbed the “Return to Grace Video Contest”, tasks participants to submit a video under 5 minutes to the website “that commemorates” their experience in Elden Ring. The video will need to be uploaded on YouTube, Vimeo, or Twitter, and only US residents who are 18+ can participate in the competition. Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa made a statement on Twitter announcing that Nintendo will announce its next console and the successor to Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year. In the recent email from Microsoft Gaming President Matt Booty, Redfall‘s previous update will be its last, and all development on the game will end with the closure of Arkane Austin. The email also clarifies that the game “and its servers will remain online for players to enjoy,” and that the company “will provide make-good offers to players who purchased the Hero DLC.” The Hero Pass was included in the Bite Back Edition of Redfall which cost $99.99.
