I’ve alway been curious as to why when I use software eq, no matter if it’s a music player like iTunes or something like ProQ inside a DAW it always sounds significantly worse than if I run the audio through hardware like a SP-404 sampler and EQ from there. I notice a HUGE difference in boosting the bass, especially on good headphones. Has anyone noticed similar results in doing this ..read more

Hey there, So after buyin a pair of moondrop lans (my first iems) i decided to get the A2049 Apple USB-C to Headphone Jack adapter (the US version) knowing it has a 1vrms (vs 0.5 on the EU version) dac and its cheap. Thing is i had to buy it from a thirdparty since i live in the EU and therefor they dont sell the US version overhere. Hi, I have an old pair of ie800 that I enjoy. Final e type tips work for me in terms of fit but since the nozzle is tiny I cant push the tips deep in. Recently, I have a pair of Final e5000 which manages to get deep and hence have a better seal. Wondering if same can be replicated for ie800. Cheers ..read more
