I’ve had a real issue in SL lately. Skirts. Almost every single skirt I find is RIDICULOUSLY short. I’m not against a miniskirt, obviously. But why are so many of them basically like belts? Or they look good in the front but the back has half my butt on display? Or the front is short enough that the whole lady garden is out saying hi. I’m an anxious girl. I’m pretty open about it. Mental health isn’t something that I think needs to be hidden. But I don’t *like* being an anxious girl. I feel like it makes it hard for me sometimes to get close to people, or stay close to people. It stinks, you know? I want to have close friendships and all that. But I’m an anxious girl. I had planned a whole cool blog post today. I was going to talk about different things and it was all going to tie together in the end. But I’m actually quite tired. I had laundry today. And cooking. I did my blog photo in the moments I had to spare. I had to shop for a few things for my mom. Then I drove in traffic to go take food to my mom. Then drove back. Then had dinner things to do here. So true story, but I’m kind of scared of clowns. It’s not an uncommon phobia or anything. But there’s just something so incredibly creepy about them. I don’t think it’s the exaggerated makeup. After all, I lived through the makeup explosion of 2016. I don’t think it’s that their face is basically a mask. I like masks. I think maybe it’s the forced happiness. I love the weekend in SL. Not for just the billion amazing sales, but the whole vibe is different. Maybe that’s just me thinking that. But I have noticed that people talk a little more on the weekends. Like I was out shopping, and a woman messaged me to tell me she liked my eyes, and then told me I look sweet. I’m not sure what it is, but I never seem to get tired of doing “darker” photos in Second Life. I’m not quite like that at all. I’m more Enid Sinclair than Wednesday Addams in my day to day life. It has been a total day so far. I woke up to a computer that would not turn on. And of course, immediately I panicked because that’s what you do when your computer won’t turn on. Plus, my throat is sore and I have chills. Getting sick right now is not an option. But I guess my body feels like it is? Rude. I really love all kinds of colors. If you asked me my favorite color, I’d tell you 3, but I have more. Typically, I love pastels, but jewel tones and vivid colors also speak to me. I wear a lot of colors, both in my online and offline life. In a world full of colors, why would I only wear black, you know? Decorating is a little different for me.
