Flight club opens its doors in Sydney
The Adelaidian

An old UK haunt of ours has just touched down in Sydney and we couldn’t be more excited. Flight Club is a chain of bars centered around playing darts, which is a game I wouldn’t say I’m particularly good at, but enjoy nonetheless. Back when we were living in London, Flight Club was one of my favourite options for a date night. It’s something a little different, something interactive, and something to stir the competitor within, which is always a fun way to break the ice on your first date. Launching with a huge party this Thursday, Flight Club brought together media and influencers for a night ..read more

Those who know me know I’m partial to a good beauty treatment. Facials, LED treatments, steaming, microdermabrasion – I’m a fan of it all. One treatment I’d heard good things about but hadn’t tried yet was microneedling, so when Deluxe Beauty Lab in Kograh offered to let me test it out, I jumped at the opportunity. I’d first heard about microneedling from a friend at work who has flawless skin. When she told me she used to have bad acne scarring I didn’t believe her, because every day at the office she has the kind of skin I would die to have. She showed me her photos from a few years ago thou ..read more

The latest excitement to fill our glasses is The Other Wine Co., a young, innovative winemaking team working out of the Shaw + Smith site in the Adelaide Hills. It’s been a while, but we’re back sharing some of our fave eateries from the vibrant Sydney restaurant scene. First up, an eclectic Vietnamese-Australian spot tucked away above a pub and a backpackers. Climb the stairs washed in street art and neon light and step into Hey Chu, a venue inspired by the fragrant food and late-night drinking culture of Vietnam. Modern Australian takes on Asian cuisines are nothing new, but you can be assured this is anything but the expected.
