Bought this along with several other nice packs and just never ended up using it. This pack is new and unused. Really well made. This brand is severely underrated and is incredibly well made and priced. These are $300 new but I got a deal so I’m gonna pass it a long at $165 shipped. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

I had to move a stack of building materials in my yard yesterday. That meant I was going to find some mice so I went prepared with an NAA loaded with CCI ratshot. I bagged two mice and had a big Alone style feast.*
They're good for mice to about 5 feet with the NAA and maybe 10 feet from a longer barrel.
In shooting the mice, I shot a 2x4. Here's a picture of the dead tree, in case you're interested in how far these penetrate. This was about 3 feet from the muzzle.

Not one to waste some good weather and a day off, I took off into the forest looking for some deer sheds and some relaxation time.
Nothing yet, lots of deer signs though. The rock fields in the forest always make me wonder what creates them.
Set up shop in some hemlocks.
Some assembly required.
Not in great shape, but it's dry and it'll work for...

Great rifle here, with Brazilian hardwood stock, I’ve upgraded lever with a nice leather wrap. I’ve put maybe 50 rounds through it if that, has a very smooth action, light, perfect for around the homestead, for home defense and of course an excellent hunting rifle. Next to no recoil at all, especially with the .38 rounds, even the 357 is minimal at best. Lot of fun to shoot. Has a couple scratches as seen in pics, comes with iron sights.
Comes with original box.

I think it is important to support our vendors. They certainly support the forum and provided us less talented members with some cool gear.
I have interacted with @wvtracker14 before. He a good guy. I was happy to see Mountaineer Leatherworks start business on BCUSA. I talked to him about a carry sling for a special axe I have. We got the details worked out and I sent him the axe. Didn't take no time to get it back to me. Very fair price.
This is what I got.

1084 7” OAL with a 3-1/4” blade.
Scales are rams horn with micarta pins and lanyard tube. Neutral micarta liners that complement the natural ram horn. I etched the pattern on the blade for contrast. No sheath with this one but I can make one (DM for price). Asking $140 shipped in the US ..read more

I've built these before, this one is birch bark, which is a very traditional material used for these beaver bait containers. I did this differently, rather than using the bark and making wooden plugs for the ends I simply hollowed out a birch bark tree branch. I did install plugs at the ends to look like an original and also to help hold the bark to the wood. A few beads and a bit of wire perhaps show native ownership ..read more

I'm planning on being up in the environs of Gnat Flat the weekend of May 3-5, 2024. With lots of 2 track spurs, I haven' settled on which specific spot, but those who have joined me there in the past have the idea. I may go up there and poke around for suitablity and maybe some different sites before that weekend. If any one else is interested, I'll expand this post.
Cheers.

Last weekend, met up with @LogCabin and @OMRebel for a 4 day dispersed camping trip. While sitting around the campfire, we noticed a headlamp flashing around in the distance and what looked to be a campfire that didn't last long. We didn't think much of it, other than to mention it to each other and just keep an eye on it. We continued to visit, and headed to bed, as rain started around 10:30pm and the temperature plummeted.
The rain continued to fall...
