Chronobiology and medication. (Please see the previous issue for the background) Current research is revealing the scope of impact that chronobiology has on a range of diseases. These vary from cancer and cardiac disorders to allergies and arthritis. Nesamalar (Malar) Veloo and Immanuel Arason married in 2019 and are blessed to enjoy their blended family including their two amazing children. Both were born in Sri Lanka but met in a different timeline in life. Malar was born and raised in Matale, Sri Lanka, from where she relocated to the U.S. in 2005 to work and start her career as a Caregiver. In 2011 her two wonderful children Jonathan and Joshua joined her in the U.S. and have since become citizens. Malar grew up in the Catholic faith. Chola and Cecilia Milambo got married in 2002 and are blessed with five wonderful children. Chola is a Zambian national who came to the USA in 2006 to pursue his doctorate studies in Economics at Howard University. His great-grandfather, Ruben Gonah, was among the early pioneers, led by William Harrison Anderson, who set up the first SDA Church in Zambia in the early 1900s. Chola currently works for the World Bank Group in Washington, DC. Cecilia, also a Zambian national, was born into a Catholic family. Philip Descorbeth is a native of Brooklyn, New York. His family is from Haiti. His parents have lived in New York for over 40 years. Philip has been a member of Hebron SDA Church since birth. Philip was very active at Hebron. He served as the Assistant Youth Director for 2 years and Assistant Treasurer for several years. As an Assistant Youth Director, he assisted in the renovation plans for the Young Adults Church. Kisha and Craig Samuel married in 2014 and are blessed to have joined our families of five amazing children. Craig is a native of St. Johns, Antigua who relocated to New York in the ’90s and ultimately to Maryland. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Cybersecurity at UMBC and is an AWS and Cybersecurity Consultant delivering solutions to commercial and federal clients.
