If you need any help with an auction, draft or team management to guarantee you a top 3 finish, I can do that for you on Fiverr. The chart is color coded: Red = close to losing his job. Orange = might be in danger of losing his job soon. Green = safe. Asterisk next to the closer indicates that he’s injured and that the “next in line” is currently the closer. Red/orange doesn’t always mean that the closer us doing badly, he might simply be a trade candidate. 2023-2024 OFF-SEASON MOVES

I‘m focusing on major moves. The newest moves are on top. Another bad trade for Seattle as they helped the Atlanta Braves fill their LF vacancy with Jarred Kelenic. They also gave them starting pitching depth with Marco Gonzales and only got rid of Evan White. Atlanta sent them right-handed pitchers Jackson Kowar and Cole Phillips who weren’t important for Atlanta, and won’t do much for Seattle. The Milwaukee Brewers extended OF prospect Jackson Chourio for 8 years/$80 million with 2 team options. This is a very risky deal. The New York Mets signed SP Luis Severino for 1 year/$13 million, wit ..read more

The average salary for a player is now $4.9 million, so 1 WAR = $2.5 million for this statistic. Bench players and non-closing relief pitchers are not included, as their average WAR is difficult to properly place. Abreu, José -2.1 WAR/-$19.5 Million Acuña Jr., Ronald +6.1 WAR/+$23.5 Million Albies, Ozzie +2.7 WAR/+$6.5 Million Altuve, Jose +0.8 WAR/-$15 Million Alvarez, Yordan +2.5 WAR/+$14.7 Million Anderson, Chase -1.3 WAR/+$3 Million Anderson, Tim -4.0 WAR/-$12.5 Million Anderson, Tyler -1.8 WAR/-$12 Million Andrus, Elvis -1.4 WAR Arcia, Orlando -0.4 WAR/+$4.7 Million Arenado, Nolan +0.4 W ..read more

The latest transactions are on top. I’m only analyzing notable transactions. The rest can be found here. Miami Marlins traded SS Miguel Rojas to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Minor League SS Jacob Amaya. LA get significantly worse at SS (losing Trea Turner), but will have good defense. It can work out great for Miami. Good trade for both sides. San Diego Padres signed DH Nelson Cruz for 1 year/$1 million. Cruz is done and won’t help them. SS Carlos Correa is staying with the Minnesota Twins on a 6 year/$200 million deal, that looks good for them. The Miami Marlins must be working out a trade wi ..read more

The latest transactions are on top. I’m only analyzing notable transactions. The rest can be found here. Miami Marlins signed 2B Jean Segura for 2 years/$17 million with a team option for $10 million in a good deal. Texas Rangers signed SP Nathan Eovaldi for 3 years/$63 million in another risky signing. Boston won’t miss him and get a draft pick. Philly improved their bullpen by signing Craig Kimbrel. Arizona traded CF Daulton Varsho to Toronto for Minor League C Gabriel Moreno and LF Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Good move by Arizona to clear up the OF logjam for a top catching prospect. Gurriel will ..read more

I do not include pre-arbitration or arbitration players here as they’re almost always valuable to the team, this is meant to strictly look at contracts given out as extensions or on the free agent market. I also didn’t include bench players or regular relievers and rounded the numbers when necessary. Abreu, José -$2.8 Million/+2.2 WAR Acuña Jr., Ronald -$3.8 Million/+0.6 WAR Altuve, José -$8.6 Million/+3.1 WAR Anderson, Tyler +$9.2 Million/+2.3 WAR Andrus, Elvis -$2.3 Million/+1.0 WAR Archer, Chris -$2.75 Million/-2.0 WAR Arenado, Nolan -$3.4 Million/+5.9 WAR Albies, Ozzie -$1.4 Million/-1.1 ..read more
