Struggling to sell my Heidelberg

Hello friends, I have a fully functioning Original Heidelberg 10x15 (1950). Unfortunately I ran into enormous financial issues and I have to sell it as soon as possible. I am asking very cheap $2800(cad) (the is fully functioning, was restored last year and comes with many accessories) and have tried offering to every letterpress printer I could find in my area (British Columbia). Please, do you have any tip on selling this? I am truly desperate at this moment, I wish I could keep it but my family need this money. Please, if you have any tip will be very helpful. submitted by /u/RunDMA [visi ..read more

Hi everyone. Was wondering how much your rumpan/packing paper costs.. I'm working with a Heidelberg 10x15 and see myself having to order new stock of tympan paper (there came á nice amount with the machine I purchased) and I'm honestly shocked about the prices online. Ofcourse it depends on the quantity, but it seems to come out roughly 2 dollars per sheet, shipment included... Are you guys paying these prices or have you found some cheaper alternatives? submitted by /u/IHaveLava [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Help with Valuation of Vandercook Press and Type Drawers

My uncle was a letterpress and fine book artist. He unfortunately passed away in February, inestate, meaning he had no will. The family is trying to determine the value of the presses and type drawers that he leaves behind. The press is a Vandercook UN-I Cylinder Press. Numerous type drawers with furniture. Pictures attached. If you have any experience with this sort of thing (selling/rehoming letterpress equipment), can you please share your thoughts? https://preview.redd.it/9odht4xtnvqc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ffe4a1f2bfadaf6afa40a85ade5177343840d5f5 submitted by ..read more
