The Plant Philosophy - Vegan Food & Lifestyle

All products containing nuts aren’t school-friendly so the reality of the matter is sunflower seeds are also more kid-friendly too. Below I’m gathered some of my absolute favorite recipes that use sunflower seeds as a main or supporting component. Usually in place ..read more

Vegan Refined Sugar-Free Pecan Pralines

This recipe is sponsored by the American Pecan Council. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Growing up in the south I’ve had my fair share of pecan pralines. I feel like it’s basically a staple recipe most families have their own variation of. I’m beyond excited to share my take on the classic. Showcasing the minimal beauty using rich and buttery pecans. Something about pecans brings me pure joy. I grew up eating Texas sheet cake and pecan chocolate chip cookies and local pecans were always in both. I’ve loved them since I was little. Having something so deeply rooted in my family’s recipes ..read more

Glorious baked tempeh spring rolls stuffed with fresh veggies and red curry rice noodles. Dipped in the best red curry dipping sauce I talked about earlier this week. I’m always trying to combine my favorite dishes and flavors to keep it interesting. The past few weeks I’ve been on such a curry kick, it only seemed appropriate to share a fusion combining my love of spring rolls, curry and of course, sauce. Forever inspired by my best friend and fellow vegan food blogger, Ann over at Plantcrush. She always makes the most BEAUTIFUL spring rolls! You have to check out her Lemongrass “Beef” Sprin ..read more

My love of sauce knows no bounds. Is a meal even complete without a sauce?! I know, I have a problem but that’s a different story for another day. Today I’m excited to share this spin on my almond butter sauce which is basically a spin on the OG peanut sauce that I’m obsessed with making. I’ve taken those bases and added a bit of coconut milk and red curry paste to really spice it up. This truly is such an easy sauce to whip together but trust me when I say it’s amazing on so many things! My personal favorite being spring rolls, which I will be sharing a new recipe for later this week. The ke ..read more

Classic Vegan Caesar Salads (Nut-Free)
The Plant Philosophy - Vegan Food & Lifestyle

Many moons ago I shared a photo on Instagram of my caesar salad. I had a feeling I’d get some requests to share a recipe for it, but I was really surprised by how many people were interested. Today is the day! It took me longer than I would have liked to get this ready, my apologies, but here you go. I dare say the best, classic caesar dressing. Which is accidentally nut-free, oil-free and made with only 10-ingredients. I could go on and on about why I love this dressing and how I worked tirelessly to create a replica inspired by the version I grew up eating most – but I’ll spare you the deta ..read more
