If a tropical fruit were given "tropical fruit flavor."
Was surprised when the new type of mango I tried in this week's grocery order was green! So of course I eagerly cut it open to give it a try (they are clearly ripe and ready to eat based on feel.)
I'm not sure if I would describe it as tasting like pineapple (as the name would imply,) but it definitely tastes "tropical" and is slightly more acidic, like the tang of a pineapple. Much more stringy than the autulfo mangos I usually eat, but it doesn't detract from the experience at all.

Found this fruit on a beach on the pacific coast of Panama. A local showed me that it’s edible but the local name they gave me returned no results (if I even understood him properly). The tree is too high to properly see but the ripe fruit can be found on the ground in the sand. There’s a large pit in the centre and the outer flesh has the texture of a ripe tomato. It’s juicy with a very sour slightly sweet and tropical flavour. Any help is appreciated

Wild tree in my backyard is producing fruit. I believe it's a peach tree, the fruit are golfball size and green. Is that normal for them this time of year? I'm in South central Arkansas.
Anything in particular I need to do to help it grow and produce? It seems to be doing pretty good on its own.

Yesterday I ate an orange that I thought was normal other than the fact that the inside was more orange than usual but fruits are diverse in appearance so I assumed it was fine. Today I looked in the bag and one orange was very very moldy. The one I ate had no mold. Am I good? Haven’t had anything happen to me like diarrhea etc
