Psalm 9:20 20 Strike them with terror, Lord; let the nations know they are only mortal. Humans are limited mortals that can be scared by terror. Did the Psalmist pray that the Lord may terrorize their enemies as revenge? Their enemies may have flaunted and showed off their power as if they were invincible.
