Paul L. Gaus writes The Amish-Country Mysteries, set authentically in the Amish settlements of Holmes County, Ohio. Three life-long friends - Professor Michael Branden, Sheriff Bruce Robertson, and Pastor Caleb Troyer - work sometimes together and other times at crossed purposes to solve mysteries involving the often inscrutable Amish sects of the region.

My eleventh Amish-Country Mystery is now available both as an electronic book (Kindle, Nook, Kobo, iPad and other electronic readers worldwide) and as an Amazon paperback at this link: English Shade. When they are available, you’ll be able to get them online and at bookstores nationwide, plus as e-books for Kindle, Nook, KOBO etc.

It seems that I have been able to take a few bold (but rather exhausting) measures to fix most of my website. There are still issues, but I now have hope for the site, and I have decided to keep it on the internet for the time being. For a while, I need to take a rest from it. I really was not built to be a webmaster! Thanks to my many fans, family and friends for your patience and support.
If you know of reliable Word Press website administrators, please put me in touch with them, either by a comment here, or by sending an email to one of the addresses now listed on the “Contact” page of the ..read more

Also, I am happy to report that Ohio University Press will soon publish new editions of my first seven stories. These will include travel maps for the story locations, interviews with me, and discussion questions for book clubs and reading ..read more
