You don’t have to be Keto to love this cake! A fluffy nourishing snack, this easy mug cake is the smoothest and tastiest I’ve ever tried. The secret to its delicate texture is almond meal and whole egg. This cake won’t raise your blood sugar if you use one of the zero carb sweeteners suggested. Yay! It tastes even better with Instant Coconut Whipped Cream. The Ketogenic diet helps your body burn fat as fuel instead of carbs. The Keto diet is growing in popularity – high in fat, adequate in protein, and low in carbohydrates ..read more

This easy Middle Eastern–style flatbread is grain-free, yet tastes surprisingly similar to that irresistible garlic naan in Indian restaurants. It’s a tasty wrap for veggies, meats, eggs, or any leftovers. Super-quick to make – just mix the batter and cook like a pancake. Slather it with Avocado Pesto, or use as a tortilla wrap for Paleo Huevos Rancheros. The optional onion flakes are really tasty! Freeze with parchment paper between the layers, on a paper plate, in a freezer bag. A food processor or small blender make it easier but are not required. Yield: Four breads, 6 to 7 inches ..read more

One of the easiest and most economical ways to boost your health is FERMENTING! In stressful times when your digestion is under attack from processed food, undisclosed additives, and GMO’s, these old-fashioned fermented foods like sauerkraut and yogurt can offer your gut a life-saving break. Fermented foods are high in fiber. They contain more beneficial bacteria than most probiotic supplements, and they’re cheaper than store-bought pills. Make them easily in a variety of flavors, just 2 tablespoons of fermented food at a meal can help restore your internal balance. Here are 12 ..read more

I can be excited about waking up any morning to Sweet Potato Hash! This is a comfort food for me, and it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Easy to make, check the step-by step photos below. A great recipe for vegetarian hash is hard to find, AND you can also add meat to this recipe. I made one part with sausage, and a different pan without meat. Both were truly yummy! If you can get your hands on some real Italian Sausage with fennel, the flavor is fantastic with sweet potatoes. I made the hash the night before. In the ..read more

Oooey gooey pumpkin chocolate brownies are a necessity of the season! What makes them so dark and rich? Pure cacao, pumpkin, apple and chia seeds all marbled together. Since there’s no flour, sugar or dairy, they’re pretty much guilt-free. A great snack, this recipe is Paleo, low-carb, free of gluten, grains and GMO’s. Even when you’re in a hurry, it’s always possible to enjoy a nourishing meal. Simply crack two eggs into a sliced avocado and bake. When you finish getting dressed and checking your messages, breakfast is ready. Wow, was this delicious! Choose a large size avocado with a large seed and hole, so there’s room for the egg without spilling over. The best choice is a Hass avocado. Not a Pinkerton or Fuerte avocado – as they have very small seeds, i.e. small holes. You may need to hollow out the hole a bit with a spoon, so the egg doesn’t spill ..read more
