Nature is awesome. On Monday April 8, 2024, North America will witness a total solar eclipse. Global scientists have assembled to explain the significance to the world. According to NASA, the last total solar eclipse was seen on Aug. 21, 2017.
Timing is everything as today across North America we experienced a total solar eclipse. Its path stretched from Mexico to Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Happy Easter Blessings everyone. This is a glorious day today. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life” (John 3:16).
We can now feel relief and comfort in our lives. There is no immensity of shame, faults, failures, or thoughts of uncomfortable experiences that we that cause us to tremble or run and hide, because we know God’s love for us never changes. Life is challenging, especially during times of hardship.
It is difficult to become discouraged in life when we realize how much God loves u ..read more

Beloved of the Lord,
The name and the blood of Jesus have the power to assist us in battle! For the battle is not ours, but His.
In Ephesians 6:12, we are duly reminded, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
Yes, there is war in the heavenlies, but fear not because time after time, we can testify that Our God, the man of war, the consuming fire, goes before us, and in the name of Jesus Christ, we have the victory!

Today is Good Friday - the Lord's passion. The Lord our God who suffered under Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. Last week we experienced the sixth Sunday of our Lenten journey. It was also called Passion Sunday or commonly referred to as Palm Sunday. The gospel readings were similar on Palm Sunday as today's readings on Good Friday. The readings take us through our Lord’s passion. The betrayal, the humiliation, the arrest, the handing over of Jesus to Pilate, then Jesus’ crucifixion, His pain and His suffering. During lent we have been called to understand and share in His sufferin ..read more

Growing faith builds in us an ability to pray continually - even when the evidence of the situation stacked up seems hopeless.
Prevailing prayer, or travailing prayer is not confined. It is continual and carries over and pervades. It becomes part of what we do, day by day. It is prayer prayed when you are believing God for the soul of a loved one; for God's government to be upon a nation or for a move of God. It is like the prayer the believers prayed in Acts 12, when Herod seized Peter and '...prayers were made without ceasing for him..'; or the lonely widow who put her hope in God and conti ..read more

"Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn't here, He is risen" Luke 24:6-7
Death is one of humanity's enigma and greatest fear. There is no remedy for death from modern science, medicine or from the religions of today. The statistics on death is one hundred percent unanimous - it is going to happen!
Every Christian has a hope that through Jesus' resurrection, death is not the end for us. Our relationship with God through Christ, attests to Christ's defeat of death when he came out of the tomb alive on the third day. This means that we also have victory over death. W ..read more

As believers we know that while the enemy is defeated, he is still active for a period of time before the victory of Christ is fully implemented on the occasion of His Second Coming!
Christ has won the victory, but we have to take authority each day to enforce this victory in our lives. To do this effectively, we need the spiritual armour of God. Ephesians 6:11 tells us to 'Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.'
Verse 16 especially states; 'In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the ..read more

God's abundant power is within every believer. When the Holy Spirit comes upon us in
power, we are able to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness to everyone. This gospel is the righteousness of God revealed- It is the power of salvation to all who repent and believe by faith. Then the Holy Spirit continues to sanctify the believer day by day as they journey on to heaven. This is not by human effort but by the grace of God alone, through Christ alone!
The gospel empowers us in mission, to proclaim it so that people are set free from oppression! This is our calling.
So we press on ..read more

'After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.'
John 19:28-30.
Jesus' powerful final words, 'It is Finished!' found only in John's Gospel, is the Greek word 'Tetelestai'. Tetelestai is also a transactional term referring to a debt 'Paid in Full!'

The ambience in the room was bound for the turning
An unwelcomed woman walking towards Jesus as He is reclining.
A sinner, unashamedly presenting before revered and noble men.
The allure of her costly oil announcing her fretful defence.
In quiet confidence she presses on to mourn and anoint the King for His burial
Washing His feet with her tears and wiping them with her hair,
She pours out her weighty worship on Heaven's Mighty Royal.
Who He is; what He accomplished; Our Lord and Saviour magnified in
spectacular remembrance.
Angry protesters, indignant accusers, cynical naysayers couldn't tou ..read more
