My prayer for you this new year Is that God will pour on you An anointing of His Spirit Over all you say and do. May His love flow through your actions. May His joy show on your face. May others feel His presence… It’s called Amazing Grace. May each new day be special Filled with blessings from above. May you feast upon His goodness… Then with others share His love.  Frances Gregory Pasch Happy New Year! I pray that you had a blessed Christmas with family and friends as we did. For the first time in many years all five of our sons and their families spent the day at our home. My wish for ..read more

The thought of having my eye cut and the doctor implanting a new lens in my right eye made me squeamish. But the cataract was clouding my vision and my doctor said it needed to be done. After awaking from surgery, I had to wear a patch on my eye overnight, so I couldn’t check the results. The following morning when the doctor removed the patch, I noticed a dramatic change. When I read the chart, she was exce ..read more

Read: Colossians 3:12-17 ”Let the Word of God dwell in you richly.” Colossians 3:16 Each season, magazines and newspapers  dictate the fashion trends. One year boots are in, the next year they’re out. Baggy sweaters replace trimmer ones. Styles are always changing. We often tend to worry more about our outward appearance than our spiritual characteristics. Yet no matter how good we look, if our actions are not Christ-like, we miss what really counts. God says to clothe ourselves with joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. To forgive othe ..read more

READ   Acts 16:16-24 “The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas……After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison.”  Acts 16:22-23             Have you ever been unjustly accused of something you didn’t do? Perhaps you have, but not in a way as severe as Paul and Silas. Throughout our lives it’s easy to make judgments before knowing the whole story.             I’m sure that many people who read these verses are surprised that Paul and Sila ..read more
