Stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Charity Kase and Anubis are taking to the stage across the nation this Yuletide, and QX spoke to them both about their The Nightmares Before Christmas Tour. The tour kicks off in London on 2 December, at John The Unicorn.

Queer East returns to cinemas around the UK in 2023 for its fourth year with a nationwide tour presenting contemporary feature films and documentaries with retrospective screenings, short films, artists’ moving image works, and a VR cinematic experience. Through a programme of cinema and performance art, the festival pushes boundaries and challenges expectations and labels commonly associated with queer communities. A mere couple of hours on the fastest train from London, Stratford-upon-Avon is a pretty town that sits by the side of the River Avon in the midst of the verdant Warwickshire countryside. Known primarily for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon is home to the Royal Shakespeare Company and its three permanent theatres (there are also temporary ones).

The Iris Prize LGBTQ+ Film Festival is an annual Cardiff-based film festival offering the largest LGBTQ+ shorts film prize in the world. Presenting shorts from 21 countries competing for £30,000 to make a new LGBTQ+ themed film in the UK, plus feature films, Iris Week runs from 10 – 15 October 2023 (the online festival is available in the UK till the end of October). Back in 2020, Allied Rainbow Communities (ARC) won the bid to bring EuroPride to Malta in 2023 and they’re working with the Maltese LGBTIQ+ community to make EuroPride Valletta 2023 a place to celebrate!
EuroPride in Malta is a ten-day event between 7 and 17 September 2023 that will feature various entertainment activities and events, including a human rights conference, Pride marches in Valletta and Victoria (Gozo), concerts as well as themed parties under the slogan #EqualityFromTheHeart.

Copenhagen Pride is creating a more sustainable event while promoting human rights and LGBTI+ equality! A major step is that The Copenhagen Pride Parade will become the first Pride Parade in the world to change to use 100% electric vehicles.
The climate crisis is a human rights crisis.
