Do you guys also have this phenomenon that most of the older priests tend to be extremely liberal, or is it just western Europe? For context: there is only one parish in my city which celebrates mass daily, as my city is traditionally protestant and that mass is in the ordinary form. (TLM is only celebrated on sundays, fridays and mondays) And most of the time,when there’s an older priest celebrating, he’ll add random stuff to his words which can’t be found in the missal or basically anything to try to „protestantize“ the liturgy (Calling Christ our brother for example instead of Lord God) or ..read more
