When Is a Lesbian Not a Lesbian? Bev Jo Recognizing who is actually a Lesbian and who is an imposter is crucial for us, our Lesbian communities, relationships, and sanity. Lesbians are harmed by women who choose to not be Lesbians yet pretend to be us in order to use us. If we recognize them, we can protect ourselves.
