Laurence Fishburne’s eldest daughter, Montana Fishburne, will have to serve 24 months of probation after she was arrested for battery on a police officer. According to US Weekly, the incident involving the 32-year-old and the police officer occurred in January 2022.
Broward County sheriffs arrested and charged Montana with battery on a law enforcement officer after authorities responded to her 911 call about an ex-boyfriend she accused of threatening and stalking her.

Tyler Perry has signed a new deal with BET Media, Paramount’s media company. Per the new partnership deal, Perry will deliver hundreds of new episodes to BET and BET+, spanning existing and new series.
BET has also picked up new seasons of eight current and one new series from him, according to Deadline. That includes an eighth season renewal for Tyler Perry’s Sistas, a sixth season renewal for Tyler Perry’s The Oval, and fifth season renewals for Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.

Atedo Peterside is a Nigerian entrepreneur, businessman, banker and founder of one of Africa’s most prestigious banks, Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc. The bank started more than three decades ago as Investment Bank and Trust Company Limited (IBTC).

The cheerleading squad of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University has won the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) and National Dance Alliance (NDA) College National Championship, earning it its first-ever championship title.

Former Albany football standout Amitral “AJ” Simon, aged 25, has passed away abruptly, just days before the 2024 NFL draft where he aspired to be chosen.
Simon, a promising defensive lineman, had his sights set on the upcoming draft event slated for next week in Detroit. The cause of his untimely death remains undisclosed.
