Ignore these petty anti-Israel students and they’ll go away

THE elite universities in the United States have always had a complicated relationship with the Jews. When the WASPs (White Anglo Saxon Protestants) were in charge of who got into the elite Ivy League, they soon realised that when admission was based purely on merit there were too many Jews. The Jewish applicant was, to use a complicated term, super-duper smart.  They were also, according to this must-read New Yorker ‘look back’ article, seen as annoying: ‘The enrolment of Jews began to rise dramatically. By 1922, they made up more than a fifth of Harvard’s freshman class ..read more

Yet more evidence to disprove claims that vaccines are safe and effective
The Conservative Woman

NEW population-level data on the vaccination programme from the Czech Republic, collected from 2.2million individual health records, have been analysed by Fürst et al and their analysis has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases (the pre-publication date on the article is May 2024). They analysed the all-cause mortality (ACM) of people vaccinated and unvaccinated against Covid-19 and found that ACM was consistently much lower in freshly vaccinated groups. Now in case you are thinking that this surely means the vaccines saved lives, it turns ..read more

Democracy in Decay: The great trans rights betrayal
The Conservative Woman
by Andrew Cadman
8h ago
ONE would imagine that it would not be often that TCW would agree with the feminist Julie Bindel, but she deserves significant credit for her stance on women’s rights against aggressive trans activists, and more recently as an advocate for Direct Democracy, stating that we need a referendum on the trans rights issue. Last week Bindel earned further praise, writing an excoriating article in the Telegraph about the betrayal of women on trans rights by Gillian Keegan and her fellow MPs. Keegan now grandly claims – conveniently now the tide is turning – that she will no lo ..read more

Dolan’s Digest: Is a Trump victory part of the left’s cunning plan?
The Conservative Woman
by Simon Dolan
1d ago
IN recent days Donald Trump has been the subject of a court case in New York where, it is alleged, he falsified business filings in an attempt to cover up hush-money payments. This case is the latest in a catalogue of politically motivated legal proceedings which will see Trump face another three trials. The prospect of the former President and current Republican front-runner facing such time out of campaigning during an election year poses not just a grave threat to the legitimacy of the election but also a potentially democracy-altering phase for the United States. Since Trump re-emerged as ..read more

Twenty Eighty-Four
The Conservative Woman

IT WAS a bitterly cold day in April and the electric clocks should have been striking thirteen. But they were stopped, because the power had been cut again. Winston Smith was chilled to the bone as he made his way to his flat in decrepit Miliband Mansions. With an effort, he kept his expression neutral, clamping his teeth to stop them chattering. The Party said the world was boiling, and any word or action which contradicted this might be picked up by the telescreen drones which hovered above every street, operated by the Green Guardian patrols. Then the Climate Police would swoop and you woul ..read more

Rushed changes in world health rules are wide open to corruption
The Conservative Woman
by Brownstone Institute

FOR two years, the 196 State Parties to the 2005 International Health Regulations (IHR) – composed of 194 Member States of the World Health Organization (WHO) plus Liechtenstein and the Vatican – have been submitting and discussing proposed amendments to update this agreement. Introduced in the 1960s, the IHR are intended to strengthen national capacities and improve coordination among countries in the event of a health emergency. Though a legally binding agreement under international law (i.e. a treaty), most of the provisions have always been voluntary.  The draft of the IHR a ..read more

That Reminds Me: Mugg meets the Master

IN previous columns (here, here and here) I wrote about Homage to PG Wodehouse, a 1973 tribute compiled by Thelma Cazalet-Keir, sister-in-law of Wodehouse’s beloved stepdaughter Leonora. Here is part of the contribution by journalist and satirist Malcolm Muggeridge (1903-1990). ‘I first made Wodehouse’s acquaintance in circumstances which might have been expected to shake even his equanimity. This was in Paris just after the withdrawal of the German occupation forces. As Wodehouse well understood, the matter of his five broadcasts from Berlin would now have to be explained ..read more

Hope Not Hate – the ‘charity’ built on deceit: Part Two
The Conservative Woman
by Karen Harradine
2d ago
This is the second part of Karen Harradine’s investigation into the activist ‘charity’ Hope Not Hate whose mission is to expose ‘far right extremism’. In the first part she laid bare HNH’s own (extreme) political bias. Today she examines HNH’s funding and its funders’ agendas. HOW IS it that one small charity has come to have so much influence as to how politics are defined and who is branded as unacceptable? How is it that Hope Not Hate (HNH) has come to be the arbiter of what constitutes or defines ‘far right’ that the MSM and even centre-right political parties comply w ..read more
