Canada’s housing market is expected to continue its decline in 2023, according to the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). The home price index fell to $730,600 in December 2022, a 1.6% drop from November and a 13% decline from its February peak, marking the largest downward swing since the 2008-2009 financial crisis.
