I’m in undergrad currently pursuing my bachelors in Psychology. I’m on track to graduate next year, and then I plan on doing two years at my same school to get my masters in IO. I have been in my current industry for about 6 years and want to get a I/O psych master's as I'm interested in doing research and potentially a PhD later on in life. It's a bit of a weird situation as I'm actually quite happy with where I currently am in terms of job security and pay, but have dreams of pursuing academic research not related to my current field in the future (have spoken with a lot of academics in it and would strongly prefer I/O). Seeking advice as a thirty-something career changer: I pursued a master's degree in psychology thinking I would use it to prepare for admission to doctoral programs in counseling psych.
