Sammen med Coop Norge blir nå Repsol Norge AS med som ny navnesponsor for sykkellaget tidligere kjent som Team Coop Hitec Products. Team Coop- Repsol blir dermed bestående av ett kvinne- og ett herrelag 2024.
Kvinnelaget og herrelaget Team Coop – Repsol vil ikke bare bære samme navn, men knyttes sammen med felles sponsorer, kontor/lager, utstyr, ressurser og administrasjon på Sola Arena. En større organisasjon vil jobbe med driften bak lagene. Team Coop – Repsol vil gi like muligheter for begge kjønn til å satse på sykling.

The team are delighted to announce the signing of the young Swedish rider who will join the team in 2024 on a two year contract. At just 17 years old, she is already double Swedish junior champion for 2022/2023 in the ITT and road race.

Team Coop – Hitec Products has signed 2 time Norwegian National Champion Camilla Rånes Bye for 2 years from January 2024. The young Norwegian won the national road race title in 2021 as a first year junior and in 2022 doubled up to win both the TT and road race national titles to end her junior time on a high.
“Being on the team means a big step in my development as a rider.” says Rånes Bye, “the team has many good races that I think will suit me and they have a good support around the riders. I’m really looking forward to next year and most of all to meet the other girls on the team.”

We are proud and enthusiastic to announce that former Olympic MTB champion and current Swedish champion on the road Jenny Rissveds has signed a contract and is joining the team from the 1st of June 2023.
Jenny’s main focus in cycling is still MTB and her UCI Team 31, but she wants to try the road cycling on top World Tour level, after winning the stage race ‘Gracia Orlova’ with the Swedish national team in April.
Jenny says: “I want to gain further experience on the road, and I am super grateful for the opportunity of joining Team COOP-Hitec Products”

The team’s first podium on European soil of 2023 has been secured on Saturday at the 2023 edition of EPZ Omloop van Borsele, UCI 1.1. Nora Tveit sprinted to a strong 3rd in the bunch sprint for 2nd place after the winner escaped with a late attack. Tveit was just beaten by former Hitec Products rider Audrey Cordon-Ragot who took 2nd.

Team Coop – Hitec Products have added an extra French rider to their squad for 2023. The 24 year-old makes the transition across from Zaaf Cycling Team with immediate effect.
Jounier has proven herself a classics rider with a strong sprint over the years with a 4th place at GP Oetingen last season and a top 20 place in Paris Roubaix Femmes in 2021, as well as winning the Lotto Belgium Cup that same year.

Team Coop – Hitec Products are heading to France in July to race just about the biggest event on the UCI calendar – the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. Since the race’s launch in 2022, it has been the team’s ambition to receive an invite to this incredible event and get in on the racing action over the 8 stages.
I think that this is the biggest race you can do and I really hope to get a spot on the team. I will at least do my best to have the best shape of my life at that time – was Tiril Jørgensen’s reaction to the exciting news.

Team Coop – Hitec Products are pleased to announce Norwegian rider Magdalene Lind will join the team as of April 1st 2023. The 20-year old has already shown herself to be a strong rider in her first two years as an U23, coming 5th place in the Youth classification at the AG Tour de la Semois in 2022, as well as 3rd U23 in the Norwegian National Championships. She makes the step up to UCI Continental Team from Belgian club team Keukens Redant.

Last week was jam-packed with racing with half the team in Spain, taking part in a sponsor training camp as well as racing the Women’s Clasica de Almería. Meanwhile the other half were in Dubai for 4 days of racing in the UAE Tour.
