When I was young, I spent a lot of time dancing; jazz, contemporary, ballet… I would go home and practice, improvising movement after movement. I also spent a fair amount of time horse riding and have a vivid memory of galloping through endless fields at high speed. What those moments brought to me at the time, was a sense of utter freedom. We think of suffering and happiness as separate. We seek the one and tend to resist the other without realising that they are just 2 sides to the same coin.
