Since I left the National Health Service in 2012, I have been running Everlief, the child psychology clinic I founded with my husband. If your child narrowly misses out on the required score and you are considering an appeal then sometimes it is useful to have a cognitive assessment as supportive evidence. The WISC V looks at a child’s ability and compares to the population. Naturally this gives a useful comparison to the 11-plus results.
